Business writing for office professionals
This course aims to empower managers and officials to produce written business communications that convey information in such a way that it is easily understood and results in the required action by the recipient. This programme helps delegates to compose, with confidence, documents such as letters, memos, faxes, e-mails and reports that are grammatically correct, concise and in a structured format. (Including punctuation exercise) "Complete a practical session : answering complaints and enquiries (e-mail and letters) Module 3 Different formats of business writing After attending this module learners will be able to "Cultivate their writing skills "Adopt the correct approach to e-mail "Evaluate examples of good and poor e-mails "Respond to clients' e-mails "List forms of e-mail etiquette "Apply writing techniques for compiling the letter, memo, fax and practical business letters "Complete a practical session: writing e-mail messages (and letters if applicable) Module 4 Evaluate and improve business writing After attending this module learners will be able to "List the ten principles for effective writing "Perform editing, proof-reading and checking "Identify common problems "Test their documents' readability "Identify means to improve their writing continuously "Complete a practical session: putting it all together - writing final e-mail/letter
